So tell me, how do you feel about this particular classis?
And are you familiar with the feeling of pride and are you known to be prejudice? Pride is not very attractive and prejudicial attitudes aren't either.
So God knows why this is such a great book. Well, these are my reasons.
Well, besides the small fact that I didn't understand a lot of it, it was a great book. I loved Jane's style of writing as it made the time the story is set in a whole lot more real. Ms. Elizabeth Bennet is now one of my favorite female characters and if I were to be like anyone- in the normal world- I'd love to be her.
So I'm not very aware of the place, the years but I know it's a long time ago as it was written in the 800's and I think it's England or something, I'm not sure. And I'd investigate it but it doesn't seem right to trick you like that and letting you think I know more than I do. To me, it wasn't so much as time and settings- it was the stroy itself what I loved.
It's full of pride and prejudice which is a real surprise. (Note sarcasm.) And I just loved how you build one idea of a character in our heads but it turns out to be wrong. Very wrong. And when you add in a nice looking guy who is a generous, kind man. Well, then you're doing it right.
As we deal with a very annoying mother, silly sisters, a wise father and many dances, we learn that pride might be only superficial and prejudice is not recommendable.
