Book cover version 2014 |
So tell me, what do you know about the Labyrinth built by Daedalus? Did you know it grows on it's own. Did you know time and space do not work the same as above in our world.
Yeah, I didn't either. But doesn't sound awesome?
Not when you're in it.
Book four of this fantastic series and things have gotten a bit more complicated as it shows Percy is the half-blood of the Great Prophecy.
We are so dam close to the end! Gods, I'm in love with this. Everything narrated by Percy Jackson is awesome. As simple as that. And now, here in the 4th book, we meet up with distant friends, we find out Clarrise has a boyfriend, *wink wink* we meet new monsters- no surprise there, although it's becoming very easier to remember all the different types, and Grover gets to accomplish his life-long goal.
I don't pay too much attention to the tecniques and whatnot of the writing. I like to enjoy the story not how many adjetives they've used to describe a monster. Which is why I don't comment on that. I give you an overall of the characters, story plot, how fun it was, etc, etc.
And this story was fantastic. It was a little slower than the rest as we're underhround most of the time but we learned quite a few things. And I believe the end makes up for it. And also, I just love how they start showing Percy as the warrior and leader he is. And not because he's a child of the eldest Three, but because he's a fantastic swordsman, a natural leader and someone you can always count on.
I recommend it, especially if you've read the other 3. Because this one is no dissapointment and it's the 2nd to last. So, if you enjoy underground adventures, red heads and battles- then this one is certainly for you.
