Book Cover New Version |
So, tell me what do you know about the Evening Star? And no, I am not referring to an actual Star.
No, The Evening Star is a whole lot more darker. They are an assosiation dedicated to gathering the 5 keys to the demon prison, Zyzxx. And as the title has told us- they are rising.
Book Two in the Fablehaven series and I am so glad we get to continue in this new magical world. So, read on and let me tell you my thoughts on this one.
I am in love with Seth Sorenson, although it sounds a bit odd as he's still a little kid- but he has a fantastic sense of humor that I appreciate fully every time. So this time, we all already know that magical creature exist and that they have taken refuge in Fablehaven. We now drink milk everyday to be able to see said creatures and it appears Grandpa Sorenson has plans for us. Oh, and Seth made a new friend. Besides the satyrs I mean.
And Kendra appears to have a few powers due to the action that happened before. They are told of the artifacts that are hidden in the different preserves of the world and why Tanu (an awesome potions master), Vanessa (a master with magical creatures) and ... I can't remember his name. The old dude that's great with relics. Him. And they are to help protect Fablehaven, look for the lost artifact (though they don't know about the artifact) as well as to help Kendra and Seth with their skills- or rather to aquire them.
That is all I'll say, because in the end a whole lot happened and I'll say it- someone's a traitor. But I won't say who.
So, if you like new characters, secret societies, magical creatures and powers and sibling love (sort of), then this one is a great one for you.
