Rereading

I, personally, love rereading books.

The human is an ever-changing organism and you are never the same person twice. So every time I read a new book, though it is exactly the same - everything is completely different.

(This is what you get after three 50 min. long classes of Philosophy.)

I always find it so odd when I hear people saying they hardly reread books. I mean, perhaps they get as affected when they read it as I, maybe less, but do they also get less attached? When first starting a book, you never really know how much you'll like it, nor how much you'll grow to love the characters. However, when you finish it?

I can't possibly be the only one who when, finishes a really good book, caresses the page, sighs with a mildly sad smile, and closes the book as if it were the biggest moment in my entire life. Right?

I love rereading, and it's such a struggle. It's hard trying to reread because, I am doing the Goodreads Reading Challenge, and I've set myself for 100 books this year. (You should participate if you're not already.) I am so behind it's not even funny. So, I am trying to balance out, school, writing and reading. As I currently find myself in exam's week and on the last week of Camp NaNoWrimo, I am a mess. In fact, I have an essay due on Thursday and exams both tomorrow and Tuesday. Yet, here you find me, ranting, and singing One Direction. Hi.

So, my point was, I love rereading. I love reliving memories with friends. I love remembering the little things, just to make sure I don't forget. I love revisiting hallways, classrooms, bedrooms, arenas (wait, no, not that one), and if you haven't found pleasure in it as well? You should search for more books. Because though reading a book for the first time is great in its own way, rereading? Fighting, loving, living and knowing to where, for what? Oh that's just fantastic, as Ten would say.

Go reread a book. I dare you.
