Unravel Me

Book cover

So tell me, how are you holding up?

Didn't expect another review so soon perhaps? Well here it is, and I will be posting the 2.5 (Fracture Me) review soon as well. I already finished it- both reading the book and writing the review- but I forgot I had not done this one yet so here it is.

Now, why don't we continue on to my feels on this one. Because a lot of schist happened here.

This one was slightly longer than the first one. And I was even more anxious to get into it. I mean, we're with the rebels which means (or at least usually does- THG, Divergent, etc) that things are going to get real.

And so much, so so much happens here. You want to know a spoiler? Well, unless you've already read this- Adam and Warner are brothers! SPOILERS! Can you believe that? I was laughing and smiling and for some reason, I found that really amusing. Perhaps because of the obvious love triangle that I had not expected when we first met Warner. Either way it was fun. Quite entertaing. And it made things a little more complicated.

But complicated is good when it comes to stories.

The problem when I read a series/trilogy (same difference) is that the second I finish one I continue with the other. It sounds normal but it makes a bit harder to differentiate where one ends and the other commences. I feel some of Juliette's habits becoming some of my own, and I don't mind.

Right, random fact.

So, we're with the rebels. Kenji is a cool fun person. We break up with Adam because it turns out it's harder than we thought to make it work between us (him and Juliette) and we shoot Anderson who is Warner's father. Warner who's name is actually Aaron. Aaron who is actually Warner's older half-brother.

I don't know what to say about this all, but I promise to you by the River Styx it was entertaining. And it left me in a small state of shock for a second in the end there. But oh my gods, I have my official OTP now and I refuse to say who it is until I finish the third- does it have an Epilogue?

If not, I'll be very disspointed but perhaps not surprised because no one seems to do it much. Not like J. K. Rowling did at least. I mean, Uncle Rick (Riordan- author of PJoO & HoO) didn't give us anything at all but a crappy ending to his second series and NO PERCY JACKSON....

Sorry, I got carried away.

Right, my point is- I like it better than Shatter Me, I can say as much. It wasn't boring and I didn't feel the romance too much this time though I think it has the same ammount... anyways, if you liked Shatter Me, highly complicated love triangles and plot twists- than you'll love this one.
