So, tell me, you are fully aware I'm a fangirl right? Perhaps you, yourself are a fanperson as well?
Then you must have at least heard about this amazing novel written by the lovely Rainbow Rowell.
Because here's what I thought about that.
Amazing. This is not a fantasy novel, but I gave it
five out of five stars. It was seriously that good. And no one will ever be able to convince me other
wise. You've literally no idea how much I loved this. I could not put it down
and once finishing it, I got into a reading slump. I just really did not want to say good-bye
to these beautiful, wonderful, perfect characters that had become my best
friends so, so quickly. The only difference between Cath and I is that she's a red
head. (Admittedly there are a lot of other differences but that's not the point
here.)
So we have Cather; not really social twin, high school graduate who has a 3 year boyfriend who's a lamp, but
best of all- she's a fangirl.
Gods, I'm super excited for that. Favorite author + favorite genre = BOOM! Awesome book.
Ok, so getting back to the point.
Cath has to deal with college now, and that includes separating herself from her twin (Wren), meeting new people (Nick, Levi, Reagan) and getting scolded for writing fanfiction in a Creative Writing course thing.
And I just absolutely adored this book. I loved every thing about it. The lovely variety in characters, the simple and easy writing style Rainbow has, the plot twist and character devolpment our Cath gets. And even Wren, and her father- and it's just such a wonderful story. It isn't corny nor too cheesy. It has as many ups as it has downs- and it instant love as so many contemporary reads tend to be nowadays.
I loved it and it felt so close to me, it made me laguh, made me cry, it brought out so many emotions and so many feels with it. Not to mention one of my tops OTPs!
Of course, it also added to my Fictional Boyfriend List- of course I am talking about Levi. He is now probably every fangirl's dream. I hope, I trust, I someday will meet someone as good as him. Rainbow Rowell's characters are always so damn fun.
So, in conclusion- if you're a fangirl you'll relish this one.
